Framed glitter

I can't believe I haven't posted in two weeks! Time goes by really quick, and I am so busy! But I finally found a few minutes to write a post. Today I am going to show you this mani that I did about three months ago, but I never posted. For my base colour I used Sally Hansen Sonic Bloom (which also stamps great!) and then I placed the glitter using a toothpick and a LOT of patience. Then I sealed everything with a lot of top coat. It lasted for a few days, and I got a lot of compliments, but I don't think I will have the time to do something like that until Winter Break starts. I seriously can't wait to have a lot of free time to do my nails! I hope to see you soon, I plan on doing a few manis this weekend and hopefully I will post then soon.

No me puedo creer que no haya puesto nada en dos semanas, el tiempo pasa muy rápido y estoy ocupadísima. Pero por fin he encontrado un ratito para enseñaros esta manicura que hice hace unos tres meses. Como color base utilicé Sally Hansen Sonic Bloom (que es genial para estampar) y luego añadí la purpurina utlizando un palillo y muchísima paciencia. Por ultimó añadí mucho top coat para sellarlo bien. Me duró unos cuantos días, y todo el mundo me dijo que le encantada. No creo que tenga tiempo de hacer una manicura así hasta las vacaciones de Navidad, pero lo estoy deseando. Espero poder volver a veros pronto y este fin de semana espero poder hacer unas cuantas manicuras.

Futuristic nails

The theme for today in Esmatofílicas challenge was futuristic nails. What could be better than a holo silver nail polish? Nothing! So I decided to use my Jade Psicodélica for this occasion. Then, I realized I've never done a laser mani, and it looks futuristic right? So I found my striping tape and Sally Hansen Black Out to create this effect.

El tema para hoy en el Reto Esmatofílicas es uñas futurísticas. ¿Qué es mejor que un esmalte plateado holográfico para esta ocasión? ¡Nada! Así que busqué mi Jade Psicodélica y puse tres capas. Luego me di cuenta de que nunca he hecho una manicura láser, por lo que utilicé un celo muy finito que tengo y el esmalte Sally Hansen Black Out para conseguir este efecto

Algunas fotos están hechas con luz natural indrecta y otras con luz natural directa, para que podáis ver el efecto holográfico.

 

80's

Last week was a hard week, a lot of exams! So i cut my nails because they were getting too long for me to be comfortable with them, so now I have short nails for a few weeks. Today we had to do something inspired by the 80's in the Esmatofílicas Challenge, and I grew up in the 90's, so I was not really sure about what to do, but Google saved me again! I saw this leopard patters in a few of the images search, so I decided to replicate it, I hope it is from the 80's... I used China Glaze For Audrey as my base color, then I used a dotting tool and Essence I Want That! and China Glaze Liquid Leather to do the cheetah print. They are not what I would normally wear, but they are really fun!

La semana pasada fue complicada, tuve un motón de exámenes, así que decidí dejarme las uñas cortitas porque ya las tenía demasiado largas para mi gusto, así que las vais a ver así durante unas semanas. Hoy, en el Reto Esmatofílicas tocaban los años 80. Yo crecí en los 90, por lo que estaba un pelín perdida, pero como siempre Google me salvó. Al poner 80's en la barra de búsqueda de imágenes, este estampado apreció varias veces y lo copié. Para hacerlo utilicé China Glaze For Audrey como mi color para la base, y luego añadí el resto utilizando Essence I Want That! y China Glaze Liquid Leather. Espero que esté relacionado con los 80 y que os guste. No es un tipo de manicura que normalmente lleve, pero era bastante divertida.
