Aztec love

Do you like aztec prints? I sure do, and I tried to freehand a few designs some time ago, but in the third Bundle Monster set there was a perfect stamp. For this mani I I used two coats of OPI Do You Lilac It? and Konad White with the plate BM-315.

¿Os gusta este tipo de estampados? A mí me encantan, hace tiempo hice un par de diseños a mano, pero en el tercer set de Bundle Monster estaba la placa perfecta para este estilo. Para esta manicura utilicé OPI Do You Lilac It? y Konad White con la placa BM-315. 

Triangles

I really like geometric designs, and the PUEEN plates have a lot, so I did a mani using one of them. I used Essie Turquoise & Caicos and the plate PUEEN20 and Barry M Silver Foil. I wish we could see the silver a little bit more, but I was really pleased with it. Have you tried these plates? As you can see I am in love with them!

Me gustan mucho los diseños geométricos, y las placas de PUEEN tienen muchísimos, así que finalmente hice una mani con ellos. Utilicé Essie Turquoise & Caicos y la placa PUEEN20  y Barry M Silver Foil para el estampado. Me gustaría que el plateado se viera un poco más, pero estoy bastante contenta con el resultado. ¿Habéis probado estos platos? ¡Yo estoy encantada!

Chevron

Chevron pattern in everywhere now, and now it is on my nails. For this mani I used Kiko 356 and then I stamped it with Konad White and the plate PUEEN03. There is not much left to say, so I am going to let you see my nails!

La estampado chevron está ahora en todos sitios, y mis uñas no iban a ser menos. Para esta manicura usé Kiko 356 y lo estampé con Konad White y el plato PUEEN03. No tengo mucho más que contar, así que os voy a dejar ver mi uñas. 

Glitter gradient

Today I am going to show you something new to me. A few monts ago I got in clearance Orly Mermaid Tale, but I just couldn't find a great way to use it, and the other day I got some inspiration: sponging! I used two coats of Sally Hansen Black Out, which looks so shiny a perfect in my opinion, and then I sponged a few times Orly Mermaid Tale. I hope you like it!

Hoy os voy a enseñar algo nuevo en el blog. Hace unos meses conseguí en rebajas Orly Mermaid Tale, aunque no encontré ninguna forma que me gustara para usarlo, pero el otro día me llegó algo de inspiración: usar una esponja. Puse dos capas de Sally Hansen Black Out, que en mi opinión queda muy brillante y perfecto, y luego usé una esponja para aplicar Orly Mermaid Tale en las puntas. ¡Espero que os guste!

Blue Essies

I got my first Essies ever the other day as a gift, and so far I love them! I was so surprised that Essie No More Film is a one coater, so I could probably use it to stamp. In the pictures I used two coats just to make sure that I had full coverage. Then I stamped it with Essie Blue Rhapsody, a blue metallic polish that works wonderfully for stamping. For the stamp I used the plate PUEEN22. I will try to get more Essies in the future if I find a good sale!

El otro día me regalaron mis primeros esmaltes de la marca Essie, y por ahora estoy encantada. Para mi sorpresa, Essie No More Film solo necesita una capa para ser opaco, por lo que probablemente lo podría utilizar para estampar. En las fotos llevo dos capas, pero para asegurarme de que toda la uña estaba cubierta. Luego lo estampé con Essie Blue Rhapsody, un azul metálico perfecto para estampar. Para el dibujo utilicé el plato PUEEN22. Si algún día encuentro unas buenas rebajas en Essie, puede que me haga con algunos más.

Playing with OPI

Today I want to show you a beautiful mani I did over Winter Break. I did not have my lightbox with me, so the pictures do not have the usual quality, but I am satisfied with them. I used OPI Hot & Spicy and OPI Goldeneye. I was not expecting Goldeneye no be so opaque, I used three coats for this mani. I finally stamped it with Barry M Gold Foil and the plate Cheeky XL C.

Hoy os voy a enseñar una manicura que hice durante las vacaciones. No tenía mi lightbox (caja de luz) para hacer las fotos, así que la calidad es un poco peor de lo habitual, pero estoy contenta con ellas. Para esta mani usé OPI Hot & Spicy y OPI Goldeneye. No pensé que este esmalte podía ser tan opaco, pero con tres capas quedó perfecto. Para el dibujo utilicé Barry M Gold Foil y el plato Cheeky XL C.

#PUREICEMYCITY

If you are really into nail polish, you now that Pure Ice is hosting a contest, and I had to participate. You had to choose your favorite city and create a mani inspired on it. I chose Ann Arbor, a college town in Michigan, and one of the best things of this city is FOOTBALL SATURDAYS! So I chose some maize and blue polishes (the colours of the football team of the University of Michigan, which is in this city) and I started working! It was way harder than I expected, and I could not settle down for one idea, so I ended up doing a skittle mani. What do you think?

China Glaze Whirled Away

I love, love, love China Glaze Whirled Away! The only downside is the application, it is a little bit tricky, but it looks great. It looks a lot like a lot of indie polishes out there, but I did not want to pay those high prices, so this polish was perfect for me. I wanted to see how it looked over different polishes, so I used a set of mini pastel polishes from Claire's. Do you like it?

Me encanta China Glaze Whirled Away! El único problema es la aplicación, es un poco difícil pero merece la pena. Se parece un montón a algunos de los esmaltes indies/artesanales que hay en el mercado, pero me parecían carísimos, así que este esmalte es perfecto para mí. Quería verlo sobre colores diferentes, así que utilicé un set de esmaltes pequeños de Claire's de colores pastel. ¿Qué os parece?

Flowers, flowers, flowers

A month ago more or less I got a set of platers from Aliexpress. There are super cheap, and they have some cute images. The only problem is that they took forever to arrive, but I am really patient. They stamp wonderfully. Here is the first mani I did. I used OPI If You Moust You Moust, Konad White and the plate QA27.

Hace un mes más o menos recibí unos platos de Aliexpress. Son muy baratos, y tienen unos diseños muy bonitos. El único problema es que tardaron muchísimo tiempo en llegar, pero soy muy paciente. Para mi primer diseño utilicé OPI If You Moust You Moust, Konad White y el plato QA27.

NYE nails!

On New Year's Eve I wore a beautiful blue dress, and I had to do matching nails. I used the famous Nails Inc. Baker Street as my base, and then I used a plate from the 3rd set of Bundle Monster and Konad White. I don't have my lightbox with me, and the sun is not colaborating a lot, so the pictures are not as good as usually.

La noche de Nochevieja llevé un vestido azul, e hice unas uñas a juego. Utilicé el famoso Nails Inc. Baker Street y Konad White y un plato del tercer set de Bundle Monster para los dibujitos. No tengo mi caja de luz conmigo, y el sol no ha salido mucho por aquí, así que las fotos no se ven tan bien como siempre.

El reto acabó hace unos días, pero yo estaba pasándomelo tan bien con la familia y amigos que no tuve tiempo de actualizar, y eso que ya tenía hechas casi todas las fotos. Hoy os voy a enseñar os que tengo hechos que tenía pendiente.
